After re-assembly and installation of the valve manifold, I spent the extra 8 dollars on a rectangular box to fit the valves properly. In the future, this box will not have to be dug up again to repair a valve as there is now room to do so.

ps. Yes, I seeded and cleaned up the area.

THE NEXT SERIES OF PHOTOS WERE TAKEN DURING ONE OF MY INSTALLATIONS.

I piped the job so that all of my lines would be straight into the box and to minimize the need for a gigantic hole. The turf was dug up in nice square pieces and set aside.

6 zones went into this manifold. "Why did he not put all 6 zones in one jumbo valve box", you ask?
(The customer wanted it this way which cost me a little more, but that's ok).

Minimal fittings were used to install this manifold and connections to the zone pipes. The box was placed centered over the valves to allow easy access.

The valve boxes are level, out of the way and neatly lined up with the link fence (the lids are not on them yet). The grass dirt and grass have been replaced and tamped.

I used to put pretty little white stones in the bottom of the box but have that up when after a couple of weeks, you couldn't really see them anyway.
